Sir Armais was born to the former Lord Armais, Richard, and was raised as a nobleman from the beginning of his life. He was trained as a squire, than excelled in that and was knighted at the age of 20. Quickly rising through the ranks, he became First Knight to his own father, serving him faithfully as a son, and a warrior.
After 6 years of being a Knight under his father, he was fighting in a battle along-side his father when an unknown Celtic warrior leaped out of the mist that was prevalent that day, and dealt Lord Armais a serious injury. Falling to the ground, Richard was immediately swarmed by no less then six Celts, until Lastir leaped into the fray, brandishing his sword, and slaying all that attacked his father. Soon the battle was won by Richard’s forces, and his son, Lastir, knelt at his side.
Richard died later that knight, and was given a burial that he deserved, having fought along-side his own subjects, he was praised by many, and mourned by all. Within a day of the funeral, all of the subjects of Northumbria rallied to have Lastir take his rightful place as Lord of the Realm. At first he resisted the idea, not wanting to take a position he didn’t deserve. However, when the multitudes of peasants and serfs cried out for him to take it, he finally accepted the position and title, to the acclamation of many.
He remains, to this day, loyal to the realm that his father carved out and fashioned, turning a small pitiful group of people into a thriving area. He still fights beside his subjects, showing that he will not callously send his men into battle.
